Finding a good deal is satisfying. Finding out a discount store is opening right around the corner? Even better. Burlington is giving shoppers in eight states something to look forward to this October, with 12 new locations preparing to welcome customers before the month ends.
The off-price retailer is expanding in Arizona, California, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas. And this isn’t a slow rollout. Burlington has scheduled two opening dates, October 16 and October 30, with most of the new stores arriving during the final weekend of the month.
The openings follow a busy September, when Burlington added 20 stores across the country. The chain sells discounted clothing, shoes, accessories and home goods, making its arrival particularly appealing to shoppers who enjoy searching for bargains without paying full retail prices. But before planning a shopping trip, there’s one important detail: Not every location opens on the same day.
Three Stores Are Opening First on October 16

The first wave is relatively small, with just three stores scheduled to open Friday, October 16. Arizona gets two of them, while Idaho welcomes the third. Burlington’s official grand openings page lists these addresses:
- Chandler, Arizona: 2085 N. Alma School
- Nogales, Arizona: 250 W. Mariposa Rd.
- Moscow, Idaho: 1810 W. Pullman Rd.
For shoppers in Chandler and Nogales, the openings mean additional Burlington locations in Arizona. Moscow shoppers, meanwhile, will have a new off-price shopping destination in their community. All three are part of Burlington’s larger push to reach more customers through physical stores.
Those aren’t the only communities getting new Burlington locations this month. The bigger wave arrives two weeks later, and one state accounts for nearly half of those remaining openings.
Nine More Burlington Stores Open October 30

Friday, October 30, is the main event. Burlington has nine additional grand openings scheduled across six states, with California leading the list at four new locations. Here are the exact addresses from Burlington’s official website:
- Colton, California: 1133 N. Mount Vernon Ave.
- Los Angeles, California: 3550 S. La Brea Ave.
- Porterville, California: 1260 West Henderson Ave.
- Whittier, California: 8508 Painter Avenue
- Augusta, Georgia: 2121 Windsor Spring Rd., Suite 100
- McHenry, Illinois: 2221 N. Richmond Rd.
- Rochester, New York: 3349 Monroe Avenue
- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: 9173 Roosevelt Blvd., Unit #35
- Baytown, Texas: 6845 Garth Rd., Unit 200
California shoppers have the most options in this round, with four communities gaining stores on the same day. The remaining five locations spread Burlington’s expansion across the East Coast, Midwest and Texas.
There’s another reason bargain hunters might want to mark their calendars. Burlington is advertising a special grand opening promotion, meaning the first shopping weekend could come with something extra.
A Grand Opening Perk Comes With a Bigger Expansion Plan

Burlington’s grand opening website advertises a $10 bonus card giveaway on Friday and Saturday during its opening celebrations. The promotion gives shoppers another incentive to visit a newly opened location, although customers should check the official terms and availability before heading out.
The October openings are also part of something much larger. Burlington announced plans to add 110 net new stores during fiscal 2026, which ends January 30, 2027, according to FOX Business. The retailer finished its previous fiscal year with 1,212 stores across 46 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Its expansion plans also include new distribution infrastructure to support a growing network of stores.
One major project is a nearly 2 million-square-foot distribution center in Buckeye, Arizona, expected to open in 2028. While shoppers may be focused on finding their nearest Burlington, the company is also investing in the logistics needed to keep more locations stocked. For now, the immediate opportunity is simple: Check the addresses, circle October 16 or October 30, and see whether a new Burlington is coming to your neighborhood.
