Kim Kardashian Does Something Seriously Horrible With Her Makeup

Most of us know the basics of skin care — wash your face, moisturize, keep your hands away from your face. And for those of us who wear makeup, never go to sleep with your makeup on. It’s like the first rule in the book. Apparently, Kim Kardashian might have skipped over that part when learning about skin and beauty routines.

Just How Long Does She Keep Her Makeup On For?

The creator of KKW Beauty will try to salvage her perfect contour for at least two days without washing off her makeup, she told Busy Philipps, host of Busy Tonight. Apparently, it’s super common for her to go to bed without washing her face, and we have so many questions. How do her pillowcases stay clean? How does she still have flawless skin? Have we been lied to all these years about needing to wash makeup off before sleeping?

Does She Sleep In It?

On the show, Philipps asked her if she ever goes to bed with her makeup on. Kim K’s response?

“Oh, all the time,” she told Philipps. “Like even if I can’t have glam the next day, I’ll sleep perfectly and maybe I’ll redo my skin, but I try to salvage it for two days.” She also revealed to Philipps that she sleeps in little to no clothing (apparently so does her husband, Kanye West), and that the Met Gala is her favorite event to attend, saying that this last one was her favorite ever.

Truly inspiring. We probably can’t pull off keeping our makeup on in bed for a couple days and look as flawless as Kim Kardashian, but you never know!
