A plain white T-shirt, navy drawstring pants and no makeup: that was the entire look when Demi Moore, 63, appeared in a mirror photo on October 13. The actress is known for flawless red carpet glamour, which made the unfiltered snapshot stand out. Fans filled the comments with praise, and several famous friends joined in. One reply came from inside Moore’s own family, and it is the one drawing the most attention.
The photo did not appear on Moore’s own account. Celebrity facialist Keren Bartov posted it on Tuesday, October 13, after a skincare session with the actress. In the mirror shot, Moore stands beside her with long dark hair loose in a center part and skin that looks fresh and bright. Bartov used the post to celebrate four years of working together, and her caption said a great deal about what the partnership has come to mean to her.
Bartov wrote that caring for Moore’s skin has given her the chance to know the woman behind the Hollywood career, and that the partnership began as a dream come true. The professional stakes are real: according to the Daily Beast, Bartov prepped Moore’s skin ahead of both the 2025 and 2026 Academy Awards. A relaxed mirror photo after a treatment offered a very different view from those red carpet nights, and followers had plenty to say about it.
Followers piled into the comments. Many said Moore looks decades younger, and a few joked that she could pass for someone in her thirties. One fan wondered what sorcery was behind the glow, while others praised her for choosing to appear without makeup. Stylist Brad Goreski, Moore’s longtime collaborator, left a string of heart emojis. Then came a message from much closer to home, written by someone who has known Moore’s face her entire life.
Moore’s youngest daughter, Tallulah Willis, 32, wrote “ok our MOM dang @scoutlaruewillis !!” and tagged her sister Scout, 35, so she would see the photo. The comment turned a beauty post into a family moment. Moore also has an oldest daughter, Rumer, 38, and all three are her children with ex-husband Bruce Willis. Tallulah’s excitement fits a year in which she and her mother have shared the spotlight several times. The first of those moments took place in Paris.
In July, Moore and Tallulah attended the Balenciaga show during Paris Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2026 week, and Moore shared a filter-free selfie in which the two appeared to wear no makeup. On September 25, they returned to the spotlight in coordinated Thom Browne skirt suits at Step Up’s Annual Inspiration Awards in Los Angeles, where Moore was an honoree. Between those two outings sat the biggest family event of the summer.
On August 8, Tallulah married musician Justin Acee at the family’s home near Sun Valley, Idaho, in a custom Balenciaga gown by Pierpaolo Piccioli. Moore had arranged a surprise: Coldplay’s Chris Martin delivered a song that opened with the couple’s names, and Tallulah said her jaw dropped. Moore and Scout signed the marriage license as witnesses. Moore’s own outfit, a teal Balenciaga gown with blue opera gloves, drew attention of its own.
Moore has long described her skincare in just a few words. In a 2019 Harper’s Bazaar video she called her routine generally “less is more,” and she has said her skin is too sensitive for anything with fragrance. More recently, she told Elle in April 2026 that her mornings start with meditation and journaling, with diet, hydration and sleep rounding out the picture. The timing of the new photo carries an irony tied to the film that changed her career.
In the 2024 film The Substance, Moore plays Elisabeth Sparkle, a fading celebrity fired because of her age who turns to a black market drug. The role earned her the first Golden Globe of her career in January 2025, plus an Oscar nomination. Accepting the Globe, she recalled advice about setting aside the measuring stick when judging your own worth. In 2026 she also became a global ambassador for Kérastase in January and for Lancôme in April.
Moore turns 64 on November 11, and the selfie that landed just before it brought together the threads of her year: a loyal facialist, a daughter cheering from the comments, and a film that put aging at the center of the conversation. Praise came from fans, friends and family alike, and Tallulah’s message gave it a personal tone. An actress with a polished public image shared an ordinary mirror photo, and the reaction showed how much audiences value seeing it.
