Disney World’s 2027 price list is out, and it rewards anyone who can dodge the holidays. Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve carry the highest one-day tickets at Magic Kingdom and Epcot, while select slower days keep the cheapest one-day, one-park ticket at $119. Disney prices by date, so the very same park visit can cost noticeably more or less depending on when guests walk through the gate.
Magic Kingdom and Epcot top out at $229 for an adult one-day, one-park ticket on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, before tax. Hollywood Studios reaches $214 on November 23-27 and December 24 through 31, while Animal Kingdom hits $189 on those same dates. Animal Kingdom is still the cheapest of the four parks, with one-day admission starting at $119. Late August and September are traditionally among the cheapest times to visit.
Park Hopper tickets, which let guests visit multiple parks in a day, cost more. A one-day Park Hopper runs $301 on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, and that number includes tax, unlike the single-park prices above. None of these tickets cover food, a hotel, transportation to the parks, or merchandise, so the full cost of a trip runs past the gate price for families already paying hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars.
Skip-the-line add-ons are moving in different directions. Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which lets guests make reservations to skip the standby line at multiple attractions, is not getting more expensive at Disney World. Single Pass, which covers select individual attractions, rises by $1 to $3 at its maximum price. Premier Pass is the big mover, with its top price climbing $50, and it lets guests use eligible Lightning Lanes without picking return times.
Premier Pass pricing moves with demand, and on peak days it could land just shy of $500, according to CNN. Annual passes are climbing as well. The Incredi-Pass, the top-tier option with no blockout dates for a full year of Disney World admission, now costs $1,749, up from $1,629 in 2026. Across the lineup, annual pass increases run from $10 to $120 depending on the pass.
One annual pass is open only to Florida residents. The cheapest Pixie Dust Pass covers all four parks with Park Hopper privileges, but it comes with significant weekend and holiday blockout dates, and it is priced at $499 for 2027. Eligible pass holders can get a lower renewal price if they renew inside their designated 90-day window. Middle-tier and multi-day tickets also rise moderately, while parking rates stay put.
Disneyland is mostly sitting this round out. Its base ticket price has stayed at $104 since 2019, and for the first time in a decade the priciest one-day, one-park ticket, usually offered over the end-of-year holidays, holds at $224. No annual pass prices change either, another first. A few items do edge up, with hopping between two parks costing $5 to $15 more and Lightning Lane Multi Pass rising $1.
Disney Experiences chairman Thomas Mazloum said the company prices “market by market, rather than with one broad brush.” Disney said Disneyland visitation tends to be more regional with shorter stays, while Disney World guests typically plan further ahead and travel farther. University of Virginia associate professor Pnina Feldman said Californians are “deciding how many times to visit this year,” while out-of-state guests with flights and hotels booked rarely change plans over a few dollars.
Gavin Doyle, founder of the third-party Disney news site MickeyVisit.com, said his readers follow the annual price increases closely. He sees Disney listening to fan feedback more than it used to. After the pandemic, he said, some guests felt policy changes and price hikes made visiting harder. Disney has since reversed some pandemic-era decisions, including making hotel parking at Disney World free again for guests.
Disney has been spreading its increases across different kinds of guests while leaving the cheapest tickets alone. The company says its parks strategy now leans on higher-priced premium products and add-ons, targeted discounts, and refreshed older attractions. That mix allowed it to generate its strongest parks and cruises revenue in two years this summer. The hikes also follow a yearly pattern, landing each October alongside the start of Disney’s new fiscal year.
Disney is hoping its pricing spreads crowds more evenly through the year, for a better experience for all visitors, according to CNN. Beci Mahnken, CEO of MEI-Travel agency, said that even in financially uncertain times, her clients are not skipping Disney altogether. Some clients are willing to adjust their dates, resort, or length of stay when the right offer comes along, since it can make “a meaningful difference in the overall cost.”
Mazloum acknowledged that families are “watching every dollar,” but said guests keep choosing Disney year after year, which he takes as a sign the company has the balance right. Meanwhile, Disney World is preparing to open new experiences in 2027, including Pueblo Esperanza, inspired by “Encanto,” in the Tropical Americas area of Animal Kingdom, and portions of Monstropolis from the “Monsters, Inc.” franchise at Hollywood Studios.
