Kylie Jenner is facing a lawsuit filed by a former housekeeper who claims she endured a hostile and abusive work environment while employed at the reality star’s California properties. The complaint, filed in Los Angeles, names Jenner along with companies Tri Star Services and La Maison Family Services as defendants.

The plaintiff, Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, says she worked for nearly a year beginning in September 2024, primarily at Jenner’s Hidden Hills residence. According to court documents, she alleges she was subjected to “severe and pervasive harassment” during her time on the job, describing conditions that she says made continued employment untenable.

Although Jenner is named in the lawsuit, the filing does not accuse her of personally engaging in discriminatory behavior. Instead, it argues that she and the associated companies failed to address or prevent the alleged misconduct by supervisory staff and coworkers.

Claims of Discrimination and Daily Mistreatment

Central to the lawsuit are claims that Vasquez experienced repeated discrimination tied to her identity as a Salvadoran woman and practicing Catholic. She alleges that coworkers and supervisors made derogatory remarks about her national origin, religion, and immigration status, contributing to what she describes as a toxic work environment.

The complaint details a pattern of behavior that included being assigned the most difficult tasks, excluded from team activities, and publicly belittled in front of colleagues. According to the filings, supervisors allegedly snapped their fingers at her, mocked her accent, and treated her “as inferior” because of her background.

In more severe allegations, Vasquez claims that supervisors intimidated her and even engaged in physical acts, including an incident in which hangers were allegedly thrown at her feet during a reprimand. These actions, she argues, contributed to an environment marked by humiliation and fear.

Vasquez says she attempted to raise concerns about her treatment during her employment, including a meeting with supervisors in late 2024. According to the lawsuit, those efforts were met with dismissal, mockery, or inaction rather than corrective measures.

The complaint further alleges that after voicing concerns, the situation worsened. Vasquez claims she faced retaliation, including intensified mistreatment and additional scrutiny from supervisors. In one instance, she alleges that a meeting addressing her complaints was secretly recorded without her consent.

Over time, she says the conditions took a toll on her health. The lawsuit states that she developed anxiety, severe stress, and symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder, ultimately leading her to take medical leave in mid-2025 before resigning the following month.

Broader Legal Claims and What Comes Next

Beyond allegations of harassment, the lawsuit also raises claims related to labor practices. Vasquez alleges she was not properly compensated for overtime, denied legally required breaks, and not reimbursed for work-related expenses, including travel between properties.

She also claims she was directed to work at locations outside Jenner’s primary residence, including a property associated with Jenner’s partner, without receiving compensation for transportation costs. These claims form part of a broader argument that labor laws were violated during her employment.

Vasquez is seeking damages that include compensation for lost wages, emotional distress, and punitive measures, as well as a jury trial. As of the latest reports, Jenner has not publicly responded to the allegations.
